Life federation was founded back in 2011 it was an initiative of Mr. Warunakantha Perera the president of the organization who I got to know through another AIESEC project I did with Leo club of Bokundara when I was the Vice president for projects in Colombo Central Local Committee also known as CCLC. That year Leo Bokundara President Mr. Manuja De Silva and the project coordinator Mr. Gihan De Silva also board members of the Life Federation.
For the first time AIESEC CCLC started a project with Life
federation in June 2011. It was easy for me to work with them as the AIESEC
representative because they have worked with me before for an similar kind of
project. The main purpose of the project was help school & pre-school
children with their English education the project was held in Kandy &
Horana. Project was a success and it went nearly 3 months with participation of
Volunteers from China , United Kingdom & Czech Republic.
Now for the second time Life federation is working together
with AIESEC CCLC for an Education project for Education project and
Environmental project which is focused on recycling. I thought to publish the
details about upcoming projects of Life federation with AIESEC to help my
fellow AIESECers to find potential volunteers for those projects. I hope that
you will get enough information about the project from by blog site if you
still have any doubts feel free to contact me.

Poorna Abeywardana
